| 1. | Melt butter and brown sugar in saucepan over moderate heat and stir until smooth. | | 2. | Pour smooth mixture into bottom of baking dish and set aside. | | 3. | Cut Challah into 1-inch thick slices. |  | 4. | Place bread slices close together on top of butter and brown sugar mixture. (Don't be afraid to really squeeze the pieces of bread to fit!) |  | 5. | In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, half and half, vanilla, salt and orange juice. |  | 6. | Pour egg mixture on top of bread. |  | 7. | In a small bowl, combine turbinado sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over entire surface of pan. |  | 8. | Cover pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
